The 2008 Adeo is Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It shows lovely varietal and regional character in its plush dark fruit, sweet grilled herbs, tar and smoke. The Adeo is a touch firm but it should soften in another 6-12 months or so. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018. I encountered quite a bit of bottle variation in the wines I tasted from Campo alla Sughera this year.
