The house’s entry level bottling, the 2004 Bolgheri Adeo, captures the essence of the 2004 vintage in its nuanced aromatics and vibrant layers of ripe fruit, crushed flowers, spice and toasted oak notes. It shows an attractive juiciness to the fruit, as well as outstanding overall balance. It is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and aged in used barriques. This small estate located in Bolgheri produces sleek wines with a lot of style and class. Its vineyards, which are all fairly young, are densely planted and the yields per plant are kept low, which gives the wines much of their characteristic richness.
