The 2009 Cabernet Franc Reserva was sourced from the estate’s younger vines and aged for 14 months in 50% new and 50% second-use French oak. Herbs and spices (clove, cinnamon, potpourri) intermingle with enticing black fruit aromas to compose the bouquet of this tasty Cabernet Franc. Incipiently complex and lengthy, it has the structure to evolve for 2-3 years but can be approached now. It is an outstanding value. The Lamadrid wines are made by the talented Hector Durigutti.
