The flagship 2005 Valtuille Cepas Centenarias includes some pre-phylloxera Mencia vines in the mix. Approximately 30% of the wine was aged in new Burgundy barrels. It exhibits a distinguished nose of toasty oak, spice box, mineral, saddle leather, black cherry, and plum.
