The Volnay Caillerets Ancienne Cuvee Carnot amply displays blackberries and roasted coffee aromas. This is a highly-structured, medium-to-full-bodied wine with a thick core of cherries and blueberries. Presently tight-fisted and unyielding, it should be at its best between 1999-2004.
