The 2009 La Strada Pinot Noir was fermented with indigenous yeast in French oak barriques, 20% new, and matured for 14 months. It presents a ruby-purple color and notes of warm cranberries, red cherries and crushed raspberries with a toasty/earthy undercurrent. Medium bodied, it fills the mouth with red berry and mineral flavors supported by medium-high acid, silky tannins and a long earthy finish. Drink it now to 2015.
