The outstanding 1999 Chablis Fourchaume (that shows lot number LF199 on the label) was produced from a block of the estate's oldest vines in their parcel of Fourchaume. Though it was produced without any new oak, its nose has distinctive toast aromas intermingled with spices and minerals. Its medium-bodied flavor profile is crammed with anise, minerals, and pears.
