The 2008 Barbera d’Alba Superiore Campolive, tasted from barrel, impresses for its length and a mineral-driven finish that adds considerable complexity to the well-delineated fruit. I expect this to be quite beautiful once in it is bottle. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018.
