The 2001 Montefalco Rosso, which shows much Sangiovese red currant fruit and floral notes on the nose and a firm, ample, and ripe palate, has an important continuity from the attack to its solid finish. Drink: 2005-2014.
The wine was fermented by Lorenzo Landi and bottled by Emiliano Falsini, the latter a young oenologist who will be heard from.
