The 2005 Barbaresco Mondino shows lovely inner perfume and sweetness in a plush expression of ripe red fruit. Flowers, French oak and licorice add further complexity, rounding out this attractive Barbaresco. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2020. Shows beautiful pure blackberry and cherry aromas, with hints of lilac. Full-bodied, with soft, silky tannins. Fresh and clean, with lots of fruit on the finish.
