Produced from old, head-pruned, organically cultivated Tempranillo vines, the 2001 El Vinculo Crianza is impressive. Still in the barrel, it may ultimately turn out to be the finest wine of this trio as it possesses the most saturated purple color in addition to sweet black cherry and berry fruit, medium to full body, terrific purity, and well-integrated wood, acidity, and alcohol. It will last for 7-8 years.
