The tannins are strongly presented in the dark ruby/purple-tinged 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Armstrong Ranch. Deep and full-bodied with notes of creosote, roasted herbs, black currants, and plums, it reveals some angularity and austerity in the finish, suggesting 2-4 years of bottle age will be beneficial.
