The 2009 Pinot Noir Meyer Vineyard spent 16 months in 50% new oak. Aromas of balsam wood, herbs, spices, and darker fruits lead to a ripe but slightly narrow wine balanced with good acidity and savory fruit. It could evolve for 1-2 years and will offer prime drinking from 2012 to 2019.
Lemelson Vineyards makes their wines with native yeast fermentations and bottles them without fining or filtration.
