The 2013 Barolo Baudana shows very nicely in this cooler vintage. The Baudana vineyard is known for broad-shouldered wines with generous aromas and dark fruit flavors. Moderate temperatures toward the end of the growing season in 2013 helped to develop the overall elegance and grace of this age-worthy Nebbiolo. This is a very pure and well-built wine that shows ample power and determination on the finish. The wine closes with a sweet cherry flavor.

The ripe, pure cherry fruit is beautifully displayed in this elegant, firmly structured red, shaded by tobacco, licorice, eucalyptus and tar notes. Offers terrific energy and a long, detailed finish.
