This domaine has received numerous accolades from the European press. Although I enjoyed the 1990 Chambolle Musigny-Les Amoureuses and the Chambolle Musigny-Les Amoureuses, I was surprised by their shallow, light-colors and forward, ready to consume personalities. None of the wines from Amiot-Servelle appear destined to last more than 7-8 years. The Chambolle-Musigny-Les Amoureuses is deeper colored than the 1990 Clos De Vougeot, with an elegant floral, cherry-scented nose, medium body, soft tannins, low acidity, and a lush, gentle finish.
