The decadent 2001 Zinfandel Aldo’s Vineyard (15.5% alcohol) is a succulent, heady example. While there is not a great deal of structure or definition, it is a Zinfandel fruit bomb offering plenty of alcohol, glycerin, and ripe black cherry and currant fruit in an uncomplicated but lusty, pleasure-filled style. Consume it over the next 2-3 years.
