The Malleea was not made in 2006 or 2007 but 500 cases were produced in 2008. A blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Shiraz, 2008 The Malleea has a very deep garnet-purple color and intense black cherry and warm black currant aromas with chocolate, licorice, fennel seed and cloves plus hints of soy, marmite, tree bark and cedar. Very crisp, rich and still very tight in the mouth, it has medium-firm, ripe, finely grained tannins and a long spicy finish. Consider drinking it from 2013/4+ to 2022+.
