The 2006 Arrocal Seleccion spent 15 months in French and American oak. It displays an alluring perfume of smoke, spice box, violets, incense, and blackberry leading to a savory, smooth-textured, racy style of Ribera del Duero offering both power and elegance. It will benefit from another 2-3 years of bottle age, but it is not necessary to delay your gratification.
Bodegas Arrocal’s three offerings are made from 100% Tinto Fino, the local clone of Tempranillo, and were bottled without filtration.
