This excellent producer continues to excel, regardless of vintage conditions. His 1991s are classic examples of Riesling. The 1991 Graacher Domprobst Riesling Auslese may merit an outstanding score after another year or so in the bottle. The wine is tight, but it appears to have terrific potential with its floral and mineral-scented nose and deep, rich, medium-bodied flavors that reveal wonderful ripeness, elegance, and focus. The authoritative finish is off-dry. A Terry Theise Selection, imported by Milton S. Kronheim Co., Washington, DC.
