Exhibiting dry mineral and stone aromas, the Meursault is a rich, fresh, structured, beautifully balanced, and medium-bodied offering filled with toasted hazelnuts. This is one of the rare village wines that will handsomely repay cellaring. It should be at its best between 2001 and 2004. The rating, with the range of scores in parentheses, indicates the wine was tasted from cask, not bottle.
