The 1997 Zinfandel Fanucchi Vineyard is a fruit bomb, but the underlying tart acidity is somewhat intrusive. Although the wine exhibits a fine berry/briery character, good ripeness, and plenty of purity, the acid level is unintegrated at this stage. It should drink well for 5-6 years. Tel. (707) 887-1532
