The 1993 Condrieu is a superb wine, with great fruit, a big, honeyed, exotic bouquet, and full-bodied flavors that ooze richness and character. It is a wine to drink during its first 1-2 years of life.
It is a dead heat as to whether Cuilleron or Andre Perret makes the most lavishly rich, exotic, and complex Condrieu. Cuilleron offers numerous cuvees, all of which are at least excellent.
