The 2006 Isola dei Nuraghi Gerione is a huge, explosive wine packed with black fruit, leather, licorice, tar and spices, all of which come together in a broad-shouldered, expansive style. The super-ripe black fruit builds impressively towards the rich, opulent finish. Gerione is 35% Bovale Sardo, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Franc.
