The 2017 Meursault En la Barre is quite introverted, opening in the glass with a gently reductive bouquet of dried white flowers, pear, citrus oil and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and textural, with broader shoulders than the domaine's regular Meursault, it's underpinned by a racy spine of acidity. This should really blossom with a little bottle age.
