Medium ruby- purple colored, the 2008 Long Gully Pinot Noir provides intense black cherry and kirsch aroma with layers of spice and earth aromas: cinnamon, cloves, forest floor and truffles. Elegant, medium bodied with excellent structure of high acid and medium-firm fine grained tannins, the flesh is still a little tight though the persistence is superb.
