This estate produces two cuvees of Cotes du Rhone. The superior cuvee is Bouquet des Garrigues. The garnet-colored, peppery 1995 displays abundant herbes de Provence, and copious quantities of fruit and spice. It is an up-front, fruity wine to drink over the next 2-3 years. This estate's wine bottle sports a new, more elegant label since proprietor Claude Pouizin is sharing winemaking responsibilities with Monsieur Vacheron, who is a member of the well-known Loire Valley family in Sancerre.
