Readers looking for more minerality and floral notes may prefer the 2003 St.-Joseph, the finest example of this wine Graillot has yet produced. Its deep ruby/purple color is followed by scents of white flowers, crushed rocks, creme de cassis, and cherries. Opulent and full-bodied, the 2003 is well above its normal pedigree in this curious vintage. Drink it over the next decade.
