The 2009 Stevens Road Cabernet Sauvignon comes from only 21 rows—the rows at the bottom are far superior to the rows at the top. It naturally limits production. The 2014 vintage onward is a true reflection of the total site production capability. This is exciting, with notes of blood plum, black cherry, poached rhubarb and raspberry compote. There is licorice and star anise... yes to the purity and unfettered evolution of this wine.
