A barrel-fermented blend of Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne, the 2014 Vacqueyras Seigneur de Lauris Blanc spent a year in 300-liter barrels prior to blending and bottling. This medium to full-bodied wine delivers expected notes of toast and vanilla, but backs those up with attractive mandarin and pineapple fruit, a lush, creamy mouthfeel and a long, spice-driven finish. Drink it over the next few years.
