The 2005 Pinot Noir The South Slope (from Dijon Clone 777) offers lovely aromas of pomegranates, herbs, roasted meats, loamy soil, and a touch of wood. Medium to full-bodied and firmly structured, it will benefit from 1-2 years of bottle age, and should keep for 7-10 years. Kudos to Stephen Hansel for keeping prices so realistic.
