Closed in a screw-cap bottle, the 2020 Alto Adige Müller Thurgau Feldmarschall Von Fenner starts off with some reduction that is quite apparent at this young age, but it should nonetheless carry the wine forward to evolve slowly and with care. These are characteristics I notice each year that I taste new vintages of this wine. Buried below are floral notes, yellow rose, mature peach and honeydew melon. This wine finishes with citrusy crispness. Winemaking sees both cement and oak botte. This is a 12,000-bottle release.
