Good bright, deep red. Vibrant but reticent nose hints at raspberry, bitter cherry and flowers. Intensely flavored, tactile and deep, with noteworthy concentration to the flavors of tart cherry and mellow oak. Still a bit of oak to be absorbed on the back end, but the wine's silky tannins and excellent length suggest that it will be a beauty with a couple years of cellaring.
