This wine is 100% from the Astralis vineyard but that is not indicated on the label. There are notes of earth and herbs, intermixed with pepper, bacon fat, blackberry, and cassis. Rich, full-bodied, and approaching its plateau of maturity, this large-scaled wine has a striking similarity to a top-notch Northern Rhone. This wine is still very vigorous and fresh, with a capacity, even though it is fully mature, to last for another 7-10 years.
