The 2014 Salmos is a blend of Cari?ena, Garnacha Tinta and Syrah from vines planted in 1996 in the villages of El Lloar, Torroja, Bellmunt and Porrera. It fermented in stainless steel vats and matured in French oak barrels for 14 months. This 2014 showed more ripeness and rusticity than the 2015, something I also noticed in the top-of-the-range Perpetual. It has a polished and approachable style often seen in Torres's wines but with the Priorat character. 118,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2016.
