The impressive 1998 Pinot Noir may merit an even higher score. With an intense floral, spicy oak, and black cherry-scented nose, this dark ruby-colored, medium to full-bodied wine possesses concentrated flavors, enough acidity to provide definition, and a fleshy, hedonistic finish -- all things that good Pinot Noir should provide.
