The 2019 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Kabinett is pure and flinty on the pure, elegant, terroir-driven nose. Piquant and crystalline on the palate, this is a crunchy and crispy, well-concentrated and nicely phenolic Schlossberg with juicy fruit but a crystalline and refined finish. Very long and stimulatingly salty. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.

The 2017 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Kabinett is intense, dense and complex on the impressively individual nose with its perfectly ripe and concentrated fruit and mineral aromas. Lush and piquant on the palate, this is a persistently salty, nervy and vibrant Kabinett with the ripe, lush and concentrated fruit of older vines (40 years old) on a great terroir. This is endless in its salty charm and lush fruit. A fabulous Riesling in which you could also take a cool and refreshing bath. Or, why don't you try this instead of a cocktail after a concert or the cinema? Tasted in March 2019.

Opening with nice reduction but precise and ripe fruit as well as crunchy slate aromas on the nose, the 2016 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Kabinett is pure and flinty, well-structured and quite aristocratic (though a frivolous aristocrat), with a firm structure, lush fruit and a lovely lightness and buoyancy. Very stimulating and mouthwatering, but it's far too young to appreciate the full complexity it will deliver in a couple of years. Salty, grippy and fruity—just a perfect Kabinett.

The 2015 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Kabinett is deep and smoky on the very clear, refreshing nose with its bright fruit aromas and smoky flavors of crushed stones. On the palate, this is a lush and mouth-filling Riesling with great purity, super grip and lingering salinity. The Schlossberg is surely more complex than the regular Kabinett, but I wouldn't drink it before 2025. It has 9.5% alcohol and less than 50 grams of residual sugar.

The 2014 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Kabinett offers a coolish, pure and stony bouquet with herbs and bright, healthy Riesling fruits. Light and elegant on the palate, with a nice transparency and finesse, this is a lovely, pure, piquant and mineral Riesling with a finely juicy mid-palate and a stimulatingly pure, salty and stunningly persistent finish. Excellent!
