The 2011 Hillside Reserve Chardonnay reveals quite a savory and nutty nose to begin before giving way to notes of ripe apricots, muskmelon, honeysuckle and preserved ginger. Medium-bodied, the palate offers a great intensity of nut-laced apricot and baking spice flavors with an exuberant backbone of acid and a long finish. Drink it now to 2017+.

The 2010 Hillside Reserve Chardonnay displays notes of lemon curd, white peaches, sulphides, shaved almond and chalk. Medium bodied, silky and intensely fruited on the palate, it has a racy acid line and notable yet balanced oak, finishing long and harmonious. Approachable now, it should cellar to 2016+.
