The 2019 Barbaresco shows a light and delicate disposition with soft berry fruit and cassis. This wine is ethereal and lean in the mouth, and these qualities greatly add to its elegance and overall drinking appeal. Tart cherry, spice and dried mint make for pretty finishing notes.

With notes of cola, blueberry and cassis, the 2012 Barbaresco is stripped down compared to the estate's Riserva, which is a little overdone. This Barbaresco offers simple fruit and not much complexity.

The 2011 Barbaresco shows dark concentration and feels pulpy and fleshy, almost chunky. There's not much definition to it. It doesn't have the Nebbiolo nuances you look for, but it's easy drinking in the end.

A warm, inviting red, whose cherry, eucalyptus, tobacco and leather notes are offset by dusty tannins. Best from 2017 through 2028. 600 cases made, 100 cases imported.??–BS??Region: Italy / Piedmont / Barbaresco Select to Add

The 2010 Barbaresco marches to the beat of its own drums. The wine presents a unique bouquet of pressed berries and spice, followed by tar and natural rubber. There are earthy notes at the back of underbrush and button mushroom that give the wine an air of rustic wilderness. It shows more control in the mouth, with nicely polished tannins and a large frame of dark fruit flavors. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2018. No known American importer.
