The organic Salcheto 2015 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva opens to intensity and bright aromas. This estate shows favorable results with its 2015s. The bouquet here is generous and rich with dark cherry, blackberry, plum, potting soil and pressed violets. To the palate, the wine shows some texture and grain, but the wine ends with a mid-weight presentation and dusty tannins. Drink this accessible Riserva within the next five years.
