The flagship 2004 Gran Buig is made up of 60% Garnacha Peluda and 40% Carinena aged for 18 months in French oak. Liquid minerals, exotic spices, lavender, confiture of black cherry, and licorice make up the nose of this voluptuous offering. Unctuous on the palate where notes of figs and raisins make an appearance, this full-bodied wine will evolve for another 5-6 years and deliver prime drinking through 2024. This is an impressive portfolio of wines indeed!
