Consistently a solid performer, the 2015 Costieres de Nimes les Enfants Terribles seems to have taken it to another level. A blend of 60% Mourvèdre and 40% Syrah, it's full-bodied, creamy and supple yet lively, with red fruit flavors and a firm finish framed by hints of oak. It's a wine that should drink well for 5-6 years from the vintage.

A step up over the “C” cuvee, the 2014 Costières de N?mes les Enfants Terribles is a year in, year out value that just about always delivers. Made from 60% Mourvèdre and 40% Syrah, it has medium-bodied richness, a plump, mouth-filling personality and classy notes of cedary spice, black raspberries and crushed flowers. Drink it anytime over the coming 2-3 years, and I certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see it keep longer.

Made from 60% Mourvèdre and 40% Syrah, and a wine I consider to be a year in, year out value, the 2013 Costières de N?mes les Enfants Terribles spent 12 months in equal parts barrel and tank before being bottled. Notions of blueberries, blackberries, wild herbs and truffle all emerge from this medium to full-bodied southern Rh?ne that has terrific ripeness (especially in the vintage), notable purity and a great finish. It’s hard to resist now, but I suspect it will still be drinking nicely at age ten.

Another wine that always delivers plenty of pleasure, the 2012 Costières de N?mes Les Enfants Terribles is a fruity, charming, medium+-bodied beauty that exhibits classic dark fruits, spring flowers/violets and charred meat. A blend of 60% Mourvèdre and 40% Syrah brought up all in barrel, it will drink nicely through 2019.

The 2011 Costieres De Nimes Les Enfants is a blend of 50% Mourvedre and 50% Syrah that was aged in tank and barrel. Its deep purple color is followed by notions of saddle leather, ground herbs, violets, barnyard and sweet plum and currant fruit. There-s hints of brett here, yet is holds everything together and is still enjoyable.
