The 2004 Costieres de Nimes Les Enfants Terribles is a 50/50 blend of Mourvedre and Syrah with about half of it aged in new oak. Medium to full-bodied, with sweet black fruits, licorice, underbrush, and earth, the wine is ripe, layered, pretty, and finishes persistently and authoritatively with no hard edges. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.
