This is a highly drinkable wine, especially in the warmest months of the year. The 2021 Bianco di Torgiano Torre di Giano is a fun blend of Vermentino, Grechetto and Trebbiano made only in stainless steel. The wine is redolent of fresh peach, green apple and honeydew melon. The effect is brilliant, luminous and fresh.

The versatile and good-valued 2017 Bianco di Torgiano Torre di Giano would pair with a wide range of foods, from salads to roast chicken. The blend here is 50% Vermentino, 30% Grechetto and 20% Trebbiano. The wine is produced exclusively with free-run juice after a brief cryomaceration, fermentation in stainless steel at low temperatures and aging on the fine lees until bottling. The results are luminous, clean and simple. Some 300,000 bottles were made.

The 2016 Bianco di Torgiano Torre di Giano is a terrific option for appetizers or outdoor lunches. The wine has just enough fruity zest, with peach, citrus, kiwi and tropical fruit, to keep your attention. Yet, it also leaves just as easily as it comes, making for a solid yet informal ride.
