Sourced from the older vines in Porrera and Bellmunt, the 2014 Les Eres Especial Dels Carners is a blend of 75% Garnacha and 25% Cari?ena macerated for five weeks and aged in new 225-liter French oak barrels for 19 months. The very ripe, exotic and oaky nose has aromas of peach, decayed plums and some organic soil. The palate is rather light and dominated by oak. Only 589 bottles were filled in May 2017.

This firm red offers black cherry, floral, smoke and mineral flavors over chewy tannins, with a spicy, savory finish. A bit tough now, but has concentration and balance. Best after 2012. 200 cases imported.??–TM??Region: Spain / Priorat Select to Add

The 2006 Les Eres Especial dels Carners is made up of 75% Garnacha and 25% Carinena sourced from a tiny vineyard with average vine age of 95 years. The wine was aged in French oak for 18 months. Purple/black with serious glycerin oozing down the glass, the nose reveals sandalwood, wet stone, black licorice, Asian spices, incense, plum, and blackberry.
