The delicious 2013 Irpinia Privilegio (500 ml) is made with air-dried fruit that is fermented in wood and aged in oak barrel for eight months. After harvest, Fiano grapes are dried in plastic trays for eight weeks. In some vintages, the clusters see botrytis infections that contribute to the overall complexity and intensity of the wine. The results are simply gorgeous and Privilegio exhibits a brilliant, luminous golden color with bright aromas of honey, yellow fruit, candied fruit and caramel. Sweet honey flavors wrap thickly over the palate.
