The 2010 Pinot Noir has a pale to medium ruby color and aromas of red cherries, warm raspberries and mulberries with a toasty undercurrent. Medium bodied and very crisp in the mouth, it has just enough expressive red berry flavors in the mouth with crisp acid and a long finish. Drink it now to 2015. Importer: Vintus Wines, NY, NY; tel. Pale ruby-purple colored, the 2009 Pinot Noir provides a moderate intensity of red cherry and warm strawberry aromas with a whiff of dried leaves. Crisp with an elegant medium body, there’s a low to medium level of grainy tannins texturing the soft red berry fruit, finishing long. Drink it now to 2014. Delta is a label I’ve admired for the value it has consistently offered since its inception. A joint venture between UK based importer/wholesaler David Gleave MW and locally based flying winemaker Matt Thomson, this pair has yet to put a foot wrong across their various ventures in the wine world.No known USA importer.

A lithe and supple Pinot Noir, with an abundance of vitality and an upfront nose of sweet, candied red fruit. A plethora of juicy strawberries and raspberries follow on the palate, but they are delivered in a well-harnessed, crisp and highly drinkable manner. £15

The 2008 Pinot Noir takes time to coalesce in the glass, but gains intensity, revealing black cherry, a touch of iodine, violets and a faint tinny element. The palate is medium-bodied, quite fleshy, clean and crisp, though lacking some complexity towards the blueberry-tinged finish that shows a little heat. No known American importer.
