Pale ruby-purple colored, the 2009 Pinot Noir provides a moderate intensity of red cherry and warm strawberry aromas with a whiff of dried leaves. Crisp with an elegant medium body, there’s a low to medium level of grainy tannins texturing the soft red berry fruit, finishing long. Drink it now to 2014. Delta is a label I’ve admired for the value it has consistently offered since its inception. A joint venture between UK based importer/wholesaler David Gleave MW and locally based flying winemaker Matt Thomson, this pair has yet to put a foot wrong across their various ventures in the wine world.No known USA importer.
