Cattier’s vineyards are on the northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims, facing Reims. This vintage 2000 shows considerable mineral character allied to flavors of green plum skins, pears and yeasty, bready acidity. It’s relatively soft, but certainly attractive to drink now. ——R.V.(12/1/2008)—— 88
