The 2011 Selecció is a blend of Trepat and Syrah that fermented in stainless at low temperature and matured in used oak barrels for nine months. It feels more mainstream, the nose and palate dominated by the Syrah character, better known than that of the Trepat which is darker, riper and also a lot oakier. The palate is a bit dusty, with chunky tannins that will benefit from some time in bottle. 3,200 bottles.

Light- to medium-bodied, with currant, cassis and black cherry fruit, hints of spice, vanilla bean and smoke. It's creamy and balanced, and fresh on the finish.
