The 2009 Portal Blanco is a blend of 70% Garnacha Blanca, 20% Sauvignon Blanc, with the balance Macabeu and Viognier fermented and raised in stainless steel. It reveals a nose of fresh herbs, baking spices, white flowers, a hint of fennel, and citrus. This leads to a ripe, savory wine with lively acidity, plenty of fruit, and outstanding length.
